29760-2 Isolation Module 3-Port - Soft Start
Some vehicles monitor their high and low beam circuits for excessive currents. These vehicles may require a soft start module to prevent the vehicle’s module from thinking there’s a short whenever the vehicle lights are turned on and the snowplow lighting harness is connected or disconnected.
The soft start module prevents the cold filament current in rush, by cutting down the amp draw coming back to the vehicle. Doing so, eliminates the body control module from thinking there’s a short and shutting down the vehicle lighting system.
